What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), a short description of your business and when you are thinking of selling. If you email or phone us, we hold what you tell us in that conversation.
Our website host may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and have a conversation about a possible sale of your business.
- To keep a record of that conversation, and to follow up if you ask us to.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries from business owners, and, where it leads to a sale, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use your details for marketing to a list, and we never sell them.
Who sees it
Your enquiry reaches us by email. We share your details only with people who help us act on your enquiry, such as our solicitor, accountant or other professional advisers, and only when you are happy for us to take the conversation to that stage. Our email and website hosting providers handle your information on our behalf, under their own security terms. We do not share your information with anyone to bring you to the attention of other buyers.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not go further, we delete it within 12 months. If we work together, we keep the records for as long as we need them to deal with the transaction and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or move it to someone else. You can also object to our use of it. To do any of this, email hello@ldnacquisitions.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
